This concert, staged to celebrate the City of Cologne in honor of the Triennale, presents Simon Rattle leading the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra as they perform a program of works by three noted 20th century composers. Selections include Oliver Messiaen's Eclairs sur l'Au-dela, Hans Werner Henze's A Tempest (Rounds for the Orchestra), and Sunrise Yellow Noise by Simon Holt, featuring guest vocalist Lisa Milne.
