Karel Svoboda was one of the most successful Czech composers of popular music, well-known both at home and abroad. Although he died tragically this year, the beauty of his music will remain with us forever. This new compilation offers an attractive selection of his theme music for children's films and animated television series, projects that were shown primarily (but not exclusively) in German-speaking countries. His enormous melodic talent enlivened the music for dozens of titles, the best of which have been carefully chosen for this compilation. A total of 36 tracks will introduce you to the music of the cult classic Three Wishes For Cinderella, How to Wake Up Princesses, and The Salt Prince. Svoboda also lent his talents to such famous animated series as Vicky the Viking, The Wonderful Adventures of Nils, The Adventures of Pinocchio and Maya the Bee. All of these are represented on this CD and will undoubtedly bring joy to viewers and listeners of all generations.
