In 2017 Monk would have turned 100 years old and this box contains some of his most important recordings. Includes his classic albums 'Genius Of Modern Music Vol 1 + 2', 'Plays Duke Ellington', 'Brilliant Corners' and 'Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane'.

This set features all of Monks standards, like "Well, You Needn't", "Nica's Dream" and "Straight No Chaser" in arguably their best versions.
